I was very fortunate to have been born into a family of educators, writers, and art lovers. They all made sure that I was exposed to as much art and culture as possible. Their encouragement gave me an early foundation in the values that still guide me on a daily basis
At University City High School, I took advantage of a program that allowed me to spend my senior year almost exclusively on making art, which led to my getting degrees at Kansas City Art Institute and Queens College, City University of New York, two of the best programs in the county. Following Grad School, I lived in NYC for 9 years and spent quite a bit of time in Europe. More recently, I spent 5 years in Chicago, another great city for the arts. In 2008 I returned to St. Louis and, after 5 years of intensive work in the field, I am very excited to be bringing Developing Art to my hometown!
